5A Cooking Women delegation is coming to the New York, New Jersey and Pennsylvania area!
Women Cook is a women's social initiative, made up of women from towns and cities throughout Israel, particularly the periphery, distressed communities and coming from different culinary traditions; Moroccan, Tunisian, Ethiopian and many more. The initiative was created to empower women and give them an opportunity to be economically independent and preserve their rich cultural traditions. We have cooked festive meals and organized workshops for children and adults in Jewish communities through the States and other countries.
A delegation of our women is returning to the States in the end of October till mid-November for exciting festivals! This group will be made up women from Moroccan, Kurdish, Bukharian, Yemenite and Ethiopian backgrounds. We will be in the New York city and surrounding area, the Cherry Hill and Philadelphia areas and Harrisburg and York Pennsylvania areas.
